This Privacy Policy explains how BulkiApps ("BulkiApps", "we", "us") handles information across our website at bulkiapps.com and the Shopify apps we publish (each, an "App"). We build our apps to request the minimum data they need, and we never sell your data.

Plain-language summary: Our apps run inside your Shopify admin. Product QA reads only your product catalog never customer or order data and uses it to score your products. We don't sell data, and we delete app data when you uninstall.

1. Who we are

BulkiApps is an independent studio that builds apps for Shopify merchants. We are not affiliated with Shopify Inc. For privacy questions, contact privacy@bulkiapps.com.

2. Information we process

Website visitors

• Essential data needed to serve the site (e.g., your request and basic server logs).
• Optional analytics (only if you accept cookies) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. See our Cookie Policy.
• Contact details you choose to send us by email.

App users (merchants)

• Store identity your Shopify store domain and an access token, used to authenticate and run the App.
• Product data Product QA reads your product catalog (titles, descriptions, images, tags, variants, SEO fields, prices) to perform its checks. It requests a read-only product scope and cannot modify your store.
• App settings small records such as which products you've chosen to exclude from scans, and periodic catalog-health snapshots, scoped to your store.

Product QA does not access customer, order, or payment data.

3. How we use information

• To provide and operate the Apps and website.
• To compute product scores, checks, and trends for your store.
• To respond to support requests.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we process data to perform our contract with you (providing the App), based on our legitimate interests (security and product improvement), and with your consent (optional analytics cookies). Shopify requires all App Store apps to honor data-subject requests regardless of location.

5. Sharing & subprocessors

We don't sell your data. We share data only with service providers that help us run our apps and site for example, cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure) and the Shopify platform itself. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

6. Data retention & deletion

App data is retained only while the App is installed. When you uninstall, we delete your store's session and app data, and we honor Shopify's mandatory data-deletion (redaction) webhooks. Catalog-health snapshots are retained for a limited period and then removed.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@bulkiapps.com. Merchants can also trigger deletion simply by uninstalling the App.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, scoped credentials, and store-level data isolation. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
